The Timothy Healey Foundation, Inc.
1 Dawn Lane
Randolph, NJ 07869

Established:
The Timothy Healey Foundation became incorporated on November 20, 1998, just 6 months after the death of it's namesake. On May 16, 1998, 7 year old Timmy was playing alone in a room and fell out of a first floor window onto the family driveway. He spent one week in a coma in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Morristown Memorial Hospital. On May 23, 1998, Timmy's struggle for life ended. Today, his parents along with the Foundation's Board of Trustees want to prevent similar accidents from occurring all too often. Research shows that over 5,000 children are injured or die in the United States each year due to falls from windows. Timmy's Mom and the foundation president Kim Healey is fully devoted to this effort; "When you lose a child your priorities are automatically restructured, what seemed important before, no longer is. This foundation is very important to me. Timmy was a kind and sensitive child, if he had survived the accident, I know that he would want to spread the word that windows can be very dangerous. Our foundation is going to work to convey this message for him and in his memory."
